Yesterday I got my new switch - no my LAN is up and running again!
Today we had a discussion about what to do with the money we got from Amazon.de for taking part in their partnership program with the german PHP FAQ. We finally decided to fly first class to Italy and spend a weekend there (BTW: all extra costs sold by a company that changes it's name every week I suppose) - of course I'm just kidding ;-).
br/>German Telekom (our nearly monopolistic internet carrier in Germany) told me today that it will at least take more than one year 'til DSL is available in the area I'm living in :-(. They say it's because of problems on the global market but I can't really believe that ....
