PHP 5 Power Programming is an amazingly well-done book about the goodies of PHP 5 written by top-notch PHP people (Andi Gutmans, Stig Bakken and Derick Rethans).
I had the pleasure of being one of the technical reviewers for it, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone who wants to dive into the new features of PHP 5, PEAR and other assorted areas of PHP. Get it while it's hot!
