The old year went and the new year came. At least for some of us; some others are still in year 4701 (China), 5765 (Hebrew calendar) or 1425 (Islamic calendar).
Personally last year was great and fulfilling for me, but the world at large had a lousy year: World affairs were mainly dominated by war, terror and lately by the tragedy in Southeast Asia, people in a lot of countries still suffered from their governments and Africa still saw thousands of humans dying from starvation and AIDS each day.
I'm looking forward to 2005 and I hope that it will be a good one.
