No-http.org claims to remove the "http:" prefix from all URLs, because they expect the HTTP protocol to vanish some time in the future and thus sites explicitly using the HTTP prefix force their users to work with an obsolete protocol. (Using //martinjansen.com/ is technically no problem, as it is clearly defined in RFC 1808.)

While they are on it, they might also want to remove the parasitic "www." from domain names completely — whoever made the decision to use this prefix as the quasi-standard should be forced to spell www.mydecisionsucks.com for a whole day, so he'll see what a pleasure spelling three w's in a row is.
