So this is cool: I was looking for something on eBay Germany but couldn't find any useful auctions. Out of the blue I headed over to eBay's Austrian site and instantly found what I was looking for. Acting on instinct I hit the "Watch this item in My eBay" link and typed in my login credentials for eBay.de without much thinking. After submitting the form I was pleasantly surprised to notice that eBay is apparently sharing login information across all their sites, which means that I can buy things on all 23 of their local sites with one user ID. Nifty!
If only international mailing expenses weren't so expensive ...
